Policy on Academic Integrity

To ensure compliance with academic integrity standards, the Editorial Board adheres to the the Code of Ethics of the University Community and the Regulations on Ensuring Academic Integrity at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo mandatory plagiarism screening (including self-plagiarism) at the initial stage of consideration.

The journal uses the licensed plagiarism detection system StrikePlagiarism.com, developed by Plagiat.pl. This international service has been operating since 2002, supports over 30 languages, and is widely used by universities, research institutions, and publishers in more than 40 countries. The system analyzes texts for similarity, including translated fragments, and generates an interactive report with identified sources, similarity indexes, and citations. StrikePlagiarism.com also includes an AI-generated content detection module and integrates with platforms such as OJS, Moodle, Canvas, and other LMSs, while fully complying with GDPR data protection regulations.

If unreferenced borrowings or duplication of previously published work are detected, the manuscript is returned to the author for revision, with the possibility of resubmission. Manuscripts containing deliberate textual distortions, intentional concealment of borrowed content, or other manifestations of academic plagiarism are rejected outright.
